Frequently Asked Questions

  • To make your wearable art last a lifetime, handwash or spot clean with cold water with mild detergent, castile soap, or vinegar. Squeeze excess water or roll in a towel. DO NOT WRING!

It’s totally normal for your piece to change shape while washing. To reset this, simply lay it flat in the desired shape. Do not hang to dry, as the item may stretch.

Crochet is super forgiving, but to keep the original shape of your garment when you’re not wearing it, DON’T hang; fold it! Hanging a crochet or knit item, like a sweater, can stretch & misshape the item.

  • I’m so happy you asked! Customs are so fun to create. Select “custom” from the dropdown menu for designs that are available as customs. Once you click “add to cart” fill out the info in the pop-up. I will contact you directly to confirm the design details.

Since each piece is handmade, expect subtle differences. Each custom item is handmade using {mostly} small batched artisanal materials, resulting in small variations of color for a unique item you’ll love for years to come. Allow 4-12 weeks to complete your order.

  • Commissions are orders that are not based on existing pieces. If you like to start from scratch with a new idea, please fill out this form. Once I receive your inquiry, keep an eye out for an email. We will chat via email or have a brief video call to discuss the details. You can be as involved in the design process as you’d like.

  • In addition to the many hours that go into each handmade piece, I do my best to source my materials from other small businesses that are environmentally sustainable! Sometimes, I’ll buy from big box stores, but I try to limit that as much as possible.

If you LOVE an item but it’s out of your price range, please contact me here to discuss alternative options.

  • I prefer to use natural materials, like wool, cotton/hemp, silk, or bamboo, for most of my items. Each item will specify what material I used for the one-off piece. With customs, you have the freedom to decide this detail, so if you prefer a different material, we can come up with an alternative.

It’s not always the case, but natural materials may cost more. If you LOVE an item but would like it in a synthetic material, please get in touch with me here to discuss alternative options.
